engineering degree online : Some info about NCSU’s online program

Another note got posted on my online dorm room door last night…

“where can I find a good Engineering online program?”

Well, there are lots and lots of them - expecially if you’re looking for a masters degree.

I’ll be highlighting several that fit the bill over the next few weeks, but I suppose I
should start in my own backyard first.

That means North Carolina.

And if you’re thinking North Carolina and Engineering, the obvoius place to start is at
North Carolina State University (NCSU)

NCSU is one of the finest Engineering schools in the Southeast, if not the nation. As such it is
highly competitive. In fact, only two schools in the entire state offer an Engineering program and the one
at NCSU is the cream of the crop.

I attended the open house at NCSU last Saturday (not for me, but for my daughter - who by the way
is not interested in Engineering   )

Here’s what I learned about there online engineering programs:

First and formost, they were created for the working professionals. Credit courses in Engineering and
Computer Science can be delivered directly to your home or workplace via the Internet.

In addition to this, special undergraduate programs are also offered in various locations throughout North Carolina.
