Good Knight! - Get Free Tuition!
Hey there my dorm room buddy, I just found out about a great tuition deal at Andrew Jackson University.
The only requirement is that you are a member of the Knights of Columbus (which means you also need to be Catholic
)
In an effort to assist prospective adult college students in these tough economic times Andrew Jackson University announced it will sponsor tuition for members of the Knights of Columbus and their families.
The Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic fraternal service organization, and are known for their charitable giving and family support. In fact the Andrew Jackson University technology coordinator Jarrod Morgan, is himself a Third Degree Knight.
University president Don Kassner said any current Knight, their spouse and adult children qualify for the AJU sponsored tuition program. Standard tuition rates of $750 per course are waived and the only cost to the student is a modest semester administrative fee once they are enrolled. The administrative fee of $350 ($400 for graduate students) covers the instructor and technology expenses while providing the student with as many as four courses, all provided online, per semester.
As an example, Kassner said that a student enrolling in one of the school’s three master’s degree programs could earn the degree for less than $3000, including administrative, application, enrollment and exam fees. To further help Knights and their families afford a college degree, the fees can even be paid over time, said Kassner.
OK, so why are they giving this special deal for the Knights of Columbus?
According to Kassner, one, because it’s Christmas.
Two, with the economy the way it is many are concerned about their livelihood and are eager to better themselves, but can’t afford the high cost of college.
The last reason is that Jarrod, our CEO and Kasser were all raised Catholic and they know how the Knights support families and what that support means to America during times like these.
So they are doing this as a way to help, and they think that groups affiliated with religious organizations would be a good place to start.
Andrew Jackson University (www.aju.edu) offers eleven all-online degree programs in business, communication, criminal justice, psychology, health care management, and public administration. The university is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the DETC (www.detc.org), an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, and is licensed to award degrees worldwide.
Members of the Knights of Columbus or their family members interested in the sponsored tuition program should visit the university website, e-mail admissions@aju.edu, or call 800-429-9300, option 1. Members of other organizations affiliated with religious or service groups interested in arranging sponsored tuition for their members should contact Andrew Jackson University president Don Kassner directly at 205-451-2072 or president@aju.edu
So if you’re a Knight, or know someone who is, please let them know about this great tuition deal.
And Happy Holidays!!!
